Gavilan College is seeking public input on the proposed ADA Transition Plan to remove barriers to accessibility on its campuses.

In accordance with Federal Law, Gavilan College has completed a comprehensive self-evaluation of its campuses.  The evaluation determined areas that are not accessible to individuals with either mobility or sensory disabilities.  Gavilan College has created an ADA Transition Plan, which outlines the steps and time frames to remediate these barriers. Funding for this project comes from the Measure X ballot initiative. Public input is requested before Gavilan College finalizes the plan.

A printed copy of the draft plan and the input form will also be available at the Security and Facilities building on the Gilroy campus, beginning Monday, August 2nd through Thursday, September 1st, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
